The Kitchen, Poole Park is Officially Open From Friday 24th July 2015.

The Kitchen and Scoops, Poole Park, has enjoyed a successful day one of the soft opening, with visitors sampling the mouth-watering menu and breath-taking surroundings of Poole’s exciting new waterside café bar.

Officially open from Friday 24th July, the soft opening allows staff to complete training and fine-tune any issues ahead of friday when The Kitchen throws open its doors for good. With visitor numbers far exceeding expectations, staff experienced a few teething problems but thank visitors for their patience and understanding during this period.

The ambitious project is the brainchild of Poole husband and wife team Richard and Sarah de Lisle and it is their second major development in the park. The couple also own the award-winning family attraction The Ark. Opened in December 2013, The Ark is now established as a premier family destination and has recently been awarded a Poole and Dorset Tourism Award in recognition of its outstanding achievements.

Sarah de Lisle said: “We are thrilled to unveil The Kitchen and Scoops Ice Cream Parlour. Poole Park is a magical place with its idyllic setting, family appeal and outstanding natural beauty – and now home to Poole’s latest exciting new eatery. The Kitchen is all about simple, honest, fresh food; we pride ourselves on using the finest ingredients, locally-sourced where possible from family-run artisan producers. Our all-day menu and daily specials are inspired by the changing British seasons, all offering excellent value for money. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stunning new venue to enjoy delicious food at great prices, in a truly breath-taking location.”
