We’re celebrating National Picnic Week in June – whatever the weather!

Set amid the picturesque surroundings of Poole Park, we have all the ingredients for a perfect picnic. Join us and celebrate good food, drink and the great British outdoors.

Our special themed picnic menu will be changing daily and is available at The Ark or The Kitchen to eat in our restaurants, on our lakeside terrace or to take away and enjoy in the park, at home or your favourite beauty spot. Featuring a delightful selection of picnic classics, all freshly made to order using locally sourced seasonal produce, just add sunshine!

To celebrate National Vegetarian Week, we’ll be serving a delicious variety of vegetarian specials, changing daily.

Made to order using locally sourced seasonal produce, The Kitchen team has devised a delicious selection of vegetarian delights.

SOUPS – Spiced Roasted Pumpkin / Butternut Squash / Roasted Parsnip - £6.00

MONDAY – Thai Stir Fried Vegetables with rice. £7.00

TUESDAY – Pasta Arrabiatta with sautéed garlic broccoli. £7.00

We’ve put together a selection of the very best, from the delicious Crispy bacon, fried egg and cheese toasted sandwich to Seafood salad sandwich with crab, prawn mackerel and lemon mayonnaise.  Our daily specials menu will be available throughout the week featuring a mouth-watering selection of this lunchtime favourite, all freshly made using locally sourced produce where possible.

Join us at The Kitchen and The Ark to sample this exclusive single estate bean coffee, specially selected for its distinctive rich smooth flavour.

Supplied by local organic coffee roastery, Beanpress, which produces the finest quality single origin coffee in Dorset, this special new bean is grown by members of Fairtrade co-operative CECANOR, the members of which are supported by Cafe Femenino Foundation, a charity that enhances the lives of women and families in coffee-producing communities throughout the world.

Freshly roasted and full of flavour, our new coffee is organic, ethical and simply divine. Don’t just take our word for it – come on down and taste it for yourself!
